For the Vineyard, worship is a high priority. In fact, it is our highest priority. We Worship the God of all Creation! Because of its place in our church, we actively encourage freedom in worship. We worship in a way that is contemporary and joyous. We believe that it makes sense to worship our creator with a style of music that is enjoyable and which allows us to present ourselves to the Lord as we are.

The word used throughout the New Testament for worship is Proskuneo (John 4:20 –24). This term for worship means to "come towards and kiss", "to prostrate oneself", "to revere". It has to do with intimacy. Worship as a priority exists in every service, home group and prayer meeting of our church.

We believe that to be passionate is to love the person of Jesus and His words and works above everything else. This means that our worship is far more than the songs we sing. Worship is the central attitude of our lives, and as such, it is an overflow and an expression of our everyday obedience to, and love for Jesus.

We believe our hearts' desire should be to worship God because God designed us for this purpose.If we don't worship God, we'll worship something or someone else.  We hope you join us to worship the God of all Creation with us.
